At the grave of the fallen Spaceknight Starshine, Brandy strikes a bargain that will change her life and the lives of all those she loves forever. Meanwhile, Rom, fresh off his victory in Atlantis, streaking home to Clairton, comes across the small hamlet of Gwillyn Dale and discovers that the evil Dire Wraiths have stolen into the night and taken the children.
